Peter is a registered herbalist with the Ontario Herbalist Association and has been involved with natural medicine as a clinical herbalist for over 35 years. He works from his clinic at Herbs & Health Holistic Centre originally located in Toronto Ontario for 25 years, now relocated in Ajax Ontario where he continues his practice incorporating energy healing and the mind body work of Dr. R.G. Hamer who discovered the German New Medicine.
Peter’s early studies included Dominion Herbal College and the General Council and Register of Consultant Herbalists (Great Britain) and a 2 year apprenticeship with German Herbalist and healer Gerhard Hansville. One of his most memorable teachers and peers was the renowned Herbalist Hanna Kroeger who incorporated science, intuition and spirituality into her herbal remedies.
Since 1996 he has taught Herbal studies at Transformational Arts College in Toronto as well as maintaining his very busy practice.
He has lectured for various institutes, groups and associations over the years, including the Ontario Herbalists Association and Ryerson University. He has written articles for magazines and newsletters, such as Common Ground magazine, Natural Health Products Magazine (2 years), Iridology Plus (4 years), the Herbalist magazine (5 years) and the professional newsletter for the Ontario Herbalists Association.
Peter was also a co-founding member and president of the Central Canadian Herbal Practitioners Association Ontario 1995 to 2000 and editor of the professional newsletter for the Ontario Herbalists Association 1995 to 1998.
